Cleveland Missouri man life flighted after Cass County Crash

On 7/30/15 around 3:05 p.m. The Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with The Cass County Sheriffs Office responded to a 1 vehicle accident on Route D just North of 315th Road in rural Cass County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2000 Dodge Neon driven by 39 year old Darin R. Thomsen if Cleveland, Missouri was Southbound when it traveled off the left side of the roadway, The driver over corrected and lost control of the vehicle before overturning and striking a tree.

Mr. Thomsen sustained serious injuries in this accident and was flown by Life Flight to Research Hospital in Kansas City.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Miller Tow.
