On June 30, at 10:30 P.M., Clinton Police were notified by the Morgan County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Department that a runaway 13 year old girl and a runaway 16 year old boy were possibly located in Clinton, Missouri. Authorities in Tennessee were apparently able to find the location of the female runaway’s cellular telephone by pinging it and it indicated that it was at a local motel in Clinton. Officers went to that location and their investigation revealed a vehicle connected with the runaway was parked there and that people that who were reportedly in the company of the runaway, had indeed checked in to the motel.

Upon contacting those people the runaway girl was initially not located however, when police checked a connected room, they discovered the 13 year old engaged in a sexual act with an adult.
