Missing and endangered: Louis Smith, 78

The Kansas City Police Department is looking for 78-year-old Louis Smith, who has not been seen since 9:30 a.m. today, July 22. Mr. Smith's son dropped him off at a senior center at 3325 Prospect Ave. at that time. When the son returned to pick up his father at 3:30 p.m., Louis Smith was not there. Senior center staff said they didn't recall seeing him at lunch, either, which was at noon. 

Mr. Smith has Alzheimer's and suffers from dementia. He is a black male who is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. He has gray hair and a scar on his left palm. He was last seen wearing an off-white and black striped shirt with faded black jeans. 

He was on foot. Please call 911 if you know where he is.
