Two Vehicle accident in Bates County Injures Butler man
On 7/15/15 around 8:00 p.m. The Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County responded to a two vehicle accident involving a Truck and a John Deere Gator.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on County Road Northeast 2524, 1 mile West of Route BB, in Bates County.
The accident was involving a 2001 Ford F150 driven by 32 year old Jacob Epperson, of El Dorado Springs.
The accident happened when Mr. Epperson was traveling Eastbound and was struck by a 2014 John Deer Gator 850I driven by 35 year old Ryan Nitchals, of Butler, Missouri after he failed to yield and was ejected from the Gator.
Mr. Epperson was listed with no injury, Ryan Nitchals was listed with moderate injuries and transported by ambulance to Ellett Memorial Hospital in Appleton City.
A passenger, 7 year old Jackson Nitchals, was listed with minor injuries and transported by
private vehicle to Ellett Memorial Hospital in Appleton City.

An El Dorado Springs man escaped serious injury, with two Butler residents injured in a two vehicle accident Wednesday night in Bates County. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at about 8:00 P.M. Wednesday night on County Road Northeast 2524, 1 mile West of Route BB, in Bates County, involving a 2001 Ford F150 driven by 32 year old Jacob Epperson, of El Dorado Springs.
