Two vehicle accident in Henry County sends Adrian man to the hospital

Around 4:45 p.m. yesterday The Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County responded to a two vehicle accident on 18 Highway and K Highway in rural Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1995 Honda Accord driven by 49 year old Lorna G. Poston of Urich, Missouri pulled into the path of the 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis driven by 61 year old Lamont M. Vernardos of Adrian, Missouri striking his vehicle in the front end.

Mr. Vernardos was transferred by ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital with minor injures. Both vehicles received moderate damage in this accident.
