Weather Update: Tuesday Evening Storms

Strong to severe storms are possible across northern Missouri later this evening as a cold front moves towards the region. The main threat will be lightning and strong winds; however, these storms will be efficient rain producers so flash flooding is also a concern. 

While tornado chances can't be ruled out across northern Missouri, the potential is low that one will occur. Lesser chances for severe storms south of Hwy 136, but a few stronger storms will be possible.
