Two from Adrian charged with Possession of Controlled Substance

The Bates County Narcotics Unit and CNET Drug Task Force conducted a yearlong investigation into distribution of methamphetamine. The conclusion of this investigation led Bates County Narcotics division to apply and receive a search warrant for a residence located in Adrian. 
 
The Bates County Sheriff’s Office, Adrian Police Department and the Missouri Highway Patrol executed the search warrant on Saturday night August 1st 2015.

Once inside the residence the Bates County Narcotics division located and collected the following items located throughout the residence. A large amount of methamphetamine, and large amount of high grade marijuana, homemade explosives, assault rifle two hand guns, over $15.000 in cash, and multiple scale and plastic bags used for weighing, packaging and distributing illegal narcotics. 

The Lee summit Bomb squad responded to the residence and collected the homemade explosives. 

Jeffrey Fisher, 04/29/1986, from Adrian Missouri, was taken into custody and charged with possession of a Control substance. Bond was set at $50,000 cash only.

Katie Corbin, 07-04-1990, from Adrian Missouri, was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $50,000 cash only. More Charges pending.

Sheriff Anderson states: “The members of the Bates County Sheriff’s Office and the CNET Drug Taskforce are committed to working with the community to stop the flow of these dangerous drugs into the county.
