Butler Fire Department responded to possible structure fire this morning

On Monday, June 29th at approximately 1:00 A.M., the Butler Fire Department was called to a report of a possible structure fire in the basement at house located at 504 W. Ohio.

On arrival, light smoke was found in the basement. The source was determined to be a shorted electrical wire.

There was no damage to the structure, and units were on the scene approximately 30 minutes.
