Butler woman arrested for having sex with a minor, Butler man arrested for Sexual Exploitation of a minor

On 05/24/2015 Butler Officers received a report of a sexual relationship concerning an adult female and juvenile male. The victim, whom was reported to be 13, at the time of occurrence was contacted and arrangements were made with the Children’s Center for a forensic interview to be conducted.

During the course of the interview the adult female was identified as Christina Deanne Brown, whom was 39 at the time the incident occurred. Also reported was an adult male identified as Jay Edward Kiger, age 35, to have video recorded the incident.

On 06/22/2015 Butler Officers with the assistance of Bates County Sheriff’s Office Detectives made contact with Christina Brown at her residence, 522 North Havannah Street, Butler, Mo. Christina Brown was taken into custody after interviewing her about her involvement in the incident.

Jay Edward Kiger 35 was taken into custody and is currently being held on charges

• One Count: Sexual Exploitation of a minor child

Christina Deanne Brown 40 is currently being held on charges

• Two Counts: Statutory Sodomy 1^stdegree-Deviate Sexual intercourse with a person less than 14 years old.

• One Count: Statutory Rape-1^stdegree-Sexual intercourse with a person less than 14 years old.

• One Count: Endangering the welfare of child-1^st offense-Sexual conduct

• One Count: Possession of a Control Substance
