Adrian man graduates from Air Assault course in South Korea

Army Air Assault course in South Korea
On July 26, 2015 a former Adrian man Khalid Jurdi graduated from the Army's Air Assault course in South Korea. He was one of four men who made the cut.

Over the past two weeks, students completed instruction on aircraft orientation, aero medical evacuation, pathfinder operations, combat assault operations, sling load preparation and inspection, rappelling and FRIES (fast rope insertion and extraction system).

Additionally, students completed a 2-mile run, obstacle course, and a 6 mile and 12 mile ruck run to prove their fitness for the program.

Jurdi is the son of Julie Stevens of Adrian, Mo.
