Driver arrested after accident yesterday South of Rich Hill

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has arrested the driver of the 2016 Freightliner moving truck that over turned yesterday in the North bound lanes of I-49 around Mile Marker 116 South of Rich Hill.

The driver 52 year old Tyrone L. Harrison was arrested on 1.) Driving while intoxicated 2.) Careless and imprudent driving resulting in a accident.

Mr. Harrison was released by the Missouri State Highway Patrol to get treatment for the serious injuries he sustained in this accident.

He was flown by life flight to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
