Obituary - J.E. Hartman‏

John “J.E.” Hartman, 83, of Louisburg, KS passed away July 24, 2015 at his home in Louisburg.  Funeral services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the Mullinax Funeral Home-Drexel Chapel in Drexel, MO.  (660-679-0009).  Visitation will be Monday evening July 27th from 6 to 8 pm also at the Drexel Chapel.  Burial will be in Sharon Cemetery, Drexel, MO.  Contributions in memory of J.E. may be made to Drexel First Baptist Church or Drexel Meals.  Messages of condolence for the family may be left at http://www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com.
 

J.E. was born December 21, 1931 in rural Louisburg, KS to Charles and Mary Ethel (Carter) Hartman.  He retired from Bendix Corp. after 30 years of employment.  J.E. loved to farm and raise cattle.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  J.E. is survived by his wife Ellen Wallace Hartman of Louisburg, KS, daughter Vicki Jacobs (Joe) of Drexel, MO., son John R. Hartman (Alva) of Drexel, step-children; Sandy Willhoite, Kimberly Hocker, and Joe Wallace, four sisters, Jane Ellen Lane, Mary Jo Poindexter, Anna Marie Fink, Margaret Jean Brewster, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
