UPDATE: Man injured in Accident South of Rich Hill On I-49

Around 4:15 p.m. this afternoon The Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates and Vernon County responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Northbound I-49 at mile marker 116 around four miles South of Rich Hill.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2016 Yellow Freightliner moving truck driven by 52 year old Tyrone W. Harrison of Kansas City, Missouri was Northbound on I-49 when the vehicle skidded into the median and overturned.

Mr. Harrison was wearing a seat belt but received serious injuries in this accident and was flown by life flight to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Garwood Wrecker Service of Nevada, Missouri.
