Pennsylvania becomes decisive swing state in US election. Scranton has received a great deal of attention from The Office and Joe Biden (especially the SNL skit about Scranton). This attention has really given people a distorted view of the area which has fed into Trump's rhetoric about the region. Fortunately, Scranton is much better than how many people perceive the city to be. It's definitely come leaps and bounds since I moved here in 2006.
