Fatality accident in St. Clair County kills 28 year old man
One person died in a one-vehicle accident on July 5 in St. Clair County on Rt. E, around 8 miles north of Roscoe.
Gregory A. Barkwell, 28, Lake Ozark, wearing a seat belt, southbound in a 1997 Jeep Cherokee, traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned several times.
Gregory A. Barkwell was pronounced dead at the scene by St. Clair County Coroner Randy Sheldon at 2:10 a.m. The body was transported to Sheldon Funeral Home in Osceola.
Mr. Barkwell's vehicle was totaled and removed from the scene by Bray’s Towing. The Missouri Highway Patrol Trooper W. Wood investigated the accident.
