Vernon County man injured in two vehicle accident involving a motorcycle
The Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County responded to a two vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and truck this evening around 7:10 p.m. The accident was 5 miles West of Eldorado Springs, Missouri on U.S. 54 Highway.
The accident occurred when the 2011 GMC Sierra Pickup truck driven by 24 year old Donna S. Buck of Harwood, Missouri was Westbound on U.S. 54 Highway when she crossed the center line and hit the Eastbound 1983 Honda Goldwing Motorcycle driven by 73 year old Donald R. Malcom of Sheldon, Missouri nearly head on.
Mr. Malcom received serious injuries in this accident and transported to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. The bike was totaled and towed from the scene by Garwood Wrecker of Nevada, Missouri.
Donna S. Buck wasn't injured in this accident and her vehicle was driven from the scene of the crash.
